Across more than 20,000 fertile acres in central Mexico and the Baja Peninsula, and in Santa Maria California, we carefully manage the growth and harvesting of our organic and conventionally grown produce. We’re committed to ensuring a consistent year-round supply of wholesome and healthy vegetables for retailers, food service companies, and individual families throughout North America. That commitment extends to the methods we use to process, package and ship our fresh organic and conventionally grown vegetables to market. Our food safety controls are second to none.
Heart&Field operates a world-class processing facility in Ensenada, just 90 minutes south of San Diego, CA. Third-party auditing labs ensure that every vegetable we ship is certified free of harmful pathogens including E. Coli and Salmonella. All samples are retained for three years. We also have a consolidation center in Los Angeles and our own freight company that sends multiple trucks across the border daily for safe and efficient management of all supply chains, including deliveries to any cross docks or depots.
Heart&Field sets a high standard for everything we do. Our growers, cultivators, processors, and shippers work hard each day to meet that challenge.
